S.P.R.E.A.D[Stop People's Ridiculously Excessive Area Dominance]
①
is a U.K. based feminist collective promoting women to take up more space. S.P.R.E.A.D aims to bring an
awareness to the gendered leg and arm spreading that plagues London's public transport.
S.P.R.E.A.D
②-③ is created to raise awareness about
the gendered occupation of space
④ on public
transport. The goal is to spark dialogue about how this behavior affects women's daily lives and to challenge
societal norms through education and advocacy campaign. This campaign aims to promote reflection on spatial
entitlement to create more inclusive and respectful public spaces using humorous
approach.

I contributed in this project as a graphic designer, creating the visual language, illustration, and printing
the final design in RISO.

The overall design was inspired by feminist zines from the 90s using scribbly fonts and bold colours.
